Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certificate (FHC) from EV accredited issuing body
- ability to work PRN schedule
- reliable and punctual
- capacity to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation protocols
- good communication skills
- ability to operate a cash register
Job Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent
- valid Food Handler Certificate (FHC) from an EV accredited issuing body
- prior experience in food service or healthcare food handling preferred
- ability to operate cash registers and handle money accurately
- understanding of health and safety standards in food preparation and service
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexibly in a PRN schedule
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- set up and maintain café stations throughout the day ensuring items are attractively displayed and fully stocked
- operate cash register to process transactions accurately and handle payments following proper cash-handling and safety procedures
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all café areas and equipment following health and safety guidelines including proper use of wet floor signs and cleaning supplies
- support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep and working in the dish room
- help deliver patient meals to ensure smooth and efficient service across departments
- perform other duties as assigned
