Job Requirements
- Prior barista, retail or food service experience preferred
- willing to train
- ability to work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm
- ability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
- ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be able to interact courteously with customers
- ability to handle physical demands of the role
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in barista, retail, or food service preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to operate POS systems accurately
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work full-time Monday through Thursday

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into the POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures according to HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
- keeps display equipment clean during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- greets customers courteously and addresses concerns
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- explains daily menu items accurately
- advocates selling techniques by assisting customer buying decisions
- ensures attractive merchandising and neat food presentation
- performs other duties as assigned
