Job Requirements
- Arrive at office at 8:30am to prepare cafe to open
- open cafe at 9am daily and close at 1:30pm
- order coffee supplies and other cafe supplies as necessary
- work with the cook on processing customer orders
- assist with supplemental catering orders as necessary
Job Qualifications
- Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
- practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
- be efficient and organized
- build good relationships with customers
Job Duties
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
- preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
- taking payment from customers
- maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs
- keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
- evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
- assist with cleanup of cafe daily at close
