Job Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Valid food handler certificate from an EV accredited issuing body
- Availability to work PRN schedule during day shifts
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to provide quality customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Food handler certificate from an EV accredited issuing body
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service settings
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Set up and maintain café stations throughout the day ensuring items are attractively displayed fully stocked and ready for service
- Operate the cash register to process transactions accurately handle payments and follow proper cash-handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all café areas and equipment following health and safety guidelines including proper use of wet floor signs and cleaning supplies
- Support kitchen operations as needed by assisting with food prep working in the dish room and helping deliver patient meals to ensure smooth and efficient service across departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
