Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one to two years' experience preferred
  • food handlers card required
  • availability to work evening shifts
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow food safety guidelines and protocols

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers promptly and courteously
  • serve foods from the serving line according to portion and appearance standards
  • carve portions of meat for individual service
  • cut, plate and garnish dessert items for service
  • set up serving area
  • replace supplies of self-service food items throughout service
  • stock service area with beverages, food items, condiments and service ware
  • cashier duties including receiving payment for food and beverage items
  • clean and maintain serving area, equipment and serving counters
  • remove food at end of meal service and store appropriately
  • document required food item tracking, temperature monitoring log, or waste log track protocols
