Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of previous serving experience in a full service environment preferably at a fast paced, high end restaurant, club, or resort
- Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and local food safety standards
- Possesses or ability to obtain State Food Safety Certificate
- Robust knowledge of wines and beverage
- Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service
Job Duties
- Crafting and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages focusing heavily on excellent customer service
- Taking orders and handling payments accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace with knowledge of recipes, equipment, and food safety
- Providing exceptional service and communication with members, guests, and team members
- Greeting all guests and members politely and promptly proactively anticipating needs
- Presenting extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparations, and specials making recommendations based on preferences or allergies
- Entering all transactions into POS system and closing sales timely
- Attending to food allergies and ensuring order accuracy before delivery
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and completing daily stocking
- Keeping the restaurant appearance consistent throughout the day
- Completing daily opening and closing responsibilities in accordance with SOP
- Conducting inventory of restaurant items as requested
- Reporting maintenance and safety issues promptly
- Properly handling and maintaining all equipment
- Ensuring compliance with government, safety, health, and security standards
- Performing any other duties as assigned
