Job Requirements
- One year of prior barista experience preferred
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines and company policies
- ability to operate POS systems
- good communication skills
- ability to handle cash and card payments
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- adherence to safety procedures including the use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of prior barista experience preferred
- knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong customer service skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- understanding of food safety standards such as HACCP

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- relays relevant concerns to supervisors
- serves customers quickly to prevent delays
- explains daily menu items accurately
- assists in customer buying decision-making process
- ensures display foods are merchandised attractively
- serves food neatly and attractively
- performs other duties as assigned
