Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Fulfill opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and equipment
  • Clean all equipment and work areas
  • Lock doors at closing
  • Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Enter orders in the cash register system and collect payments from customers
  • Take orders, enter them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee
  • Ensure appliances like coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • Clean tables and cafe cart areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  • Obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
  • Compute cashier reports at the end of shifts and resolve discrepancies
  • Secure the cash register
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect assets
  • Support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
  • Contribute to team goals and quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, standing, and moving through confined or elevated spaces
  • Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in person and on the phone
  • Perform other reasonable tasks requested by supervisors
