Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Weekend availability
- Ability to work shifts of 6-8 hours
- Willingness to participate in comprehensive barista training
- Physical stamina to perform duties including lifting, standing, and cleaning
- Positive attitude toward teamwork and guest service
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and hospitality-driven attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in the coffee industry
- Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Physical ability to handle various tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Prior barista or specialty coffee experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter and guide them through the ordering process
- Take coffee, food, and drink orders and communicate them clearly to teammates
- Make coffee orders efficiently and to our quality standards, paying attention to variations and customer preferences
- Deliver food and coffee items to guests inside and outside the shop
- Work as part of a team to keep all areas clean, well-stocked, and within health & safety regulations
- Pay close attention to guests and anticipate needs
- Learn to heat and serve breakfast burritos efficiently
- Communicate with teammates and managers about daily shop needs
