Job Requirements
- Works a flexible schedule
- works a minimum of three shifts per week
- follows company procedure for communicating time off requests
- regularly works necessary shifts including weekends
- is available to work holidays if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time
- can work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
- can work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions
- can lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- can stand comfortably for hours at a time
- can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
- can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean
- can safely walk between and around cars in the drive-thru line
- can safely use a utility knife
Job Duties
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and correctly key in orders to the point of sale system
- collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer
- prepare all drinks and premixes
- move with urgency respecting the customer’s time
- stay productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, even when business is slow
- make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language
- know the menu and drink offerings inside and out, assist customers in ordering desired drinks by offering suggestions
- bring their best self to work daily and dress appropriately
- be familiar with shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores and execute them when needed
- always clock in and be ready to work at the assigned position when the shift begins
- treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
