Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Familiarity with espresso machine operation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Knowledge of food and liquor laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- Prepare beverages according to company recipes and standards including espresso and signature cocktails
- Properly check I.D.s
- Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials
- Aide in bar promotions
- Engage guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Process and collect payments from guests
- Count the bank at the beginning and end of shifts and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all supplies are clean and sanitized
- Perform all bar setup and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Know and comply with food handling and liquor laws
- Report any items in need of repair
- Follow all safety procedures while working
- Check with Front Desk team for occupancy and current groups in house
