Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- basic knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- familiarity with POS systems
- a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to work well in a team environment
- adherence to health and safety standards

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with guests in a welcoming, personable, and professional manner
- remain calm while listening to guest concerns and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution
- take orders and prepare both coffee beverages and breakfast food items
- present bills, accept payments, and operate the POS system efficiently
- embrace the role of a barista by learning and exploring coffee crafting techniques
- craft drinks that suit our guests' needs and preferences
- stay relevant in the coffee industry and be aware of new trends
- take a proper inventory at the start of each shift to assure preparedness for a busy day
- restock and replenish inventory as the shift progresses
- comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures
- date and label all food products, adhering to FIFO (first in, first out)
- maintain a flexible and focused approach in a fast-paced, growing environment
- ensure that the café environment satisfies all five senses: good smells, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a clean, vibin’ atmosphere
- assure the space is always clean and ready for health inspections
- be a supportive co-worker, teammate, and leader
- help cover shifts when necessary
- perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation
- communicate with management regularly
- check 7Shifts Announcements and messages to stay aware of operational updates
- use 7Shifts to communicate with coworkers and manage shift trades and requests
