Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or retail experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to adhere to food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to maintain focus on details such as product freshness and accurate pricing
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and management
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic cash handling and sales recording
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations is a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and accountability
Job Duties
- Greet customers in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and business-like manner
- Assist customers and thank them for their patronage
- Check product quality to ensure freshness and compliance with "sell by" dates
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- Build attractive displays and stock shelves
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and temperature logs
- Record items at correct prices quickly and efficiently
- Identify potential problems and communicate solutions to management
- Meet store goals and hold self accountable for business measures
- Account for proper recording of sales and money collected
- Maintain acceptable cash over/short record
- Gather and share customer feedback proactively
- Count back change for each transaction
- Participate in proper bagging of customers' orders after cash transactions
- Check register products to ensure nothing is left behind
