Job Duties

  • Greeting customers with a friendly demeanor
  • sharing updates on food and beverage menus and answering customer questions about ingredients
  • taking orders with attention to detail including preferences for coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios
  • performing day-to-day operations of the coffee stand including food and beverage preparation and proper use of coffee equipment, and reporting any maintenance needs
  • keeping the bar area clean and maintaining quality control of products
  • complying with health and safety regulations
  • handling cash and operating a POS system
  • recording timecard accurately including breaks
  • tracking supplies and reporting shortages
  • completing financial reporting per shift
  • working independently or with others to deliver quality and consistency to customers
  • resolving customer challenges with excellent customer service
  • building friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and ensure outstanding experience
  • increasing sales and customer count through meeting Cafe Elite performance objectives
  • communicating regularly with the stand manager and providing feedback on customer preferences and recommendations for new menu items
  • adhering to all company policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook
  • attending meetings at the corporate office as required
  • developing content for social media and training when requested
  • actively participating in recruiting talent for the team
  • collaborating respectfully with co-workers and management across company platforms
  • setting and meeting performance goals and objectives
