Job Description

As a Barista at Bean & Gone, you will play a critical role in crafting an exceptional beverage experience for every customer. The position entails preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, including specialty coffees and teas, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred
  • ability to operate brewing equipment
  • basic math skills for handling payments
  • excellent communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • greet customers as they enter
  • give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
  • take orders while paying attention to details such as preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios
  • prepare beverages following recipes
  • receive and process payments by cash and credit cards
  • keep the bar area clean
  • check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • comply with health and safety regulations
  • communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
