Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the US
- Ability to stand for long periods (10 plus hours)
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 20 pounds
- Obtain all county required food and alcohol serving certifications prior to employment
- Fun, energetic, eager, and committed team member
- Expert bartender and barista skills
- Knowledgeable of Snooze food, beverage, and service standards
- Able to communicate and understand predominant language(s) of guests
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or bartender preferred
- Knowledge of coffee and cocktail preparation standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Food and alcohol service certification as required by county laws
Job Duties
- Accurately take beverage orders from guests and servers and record in POS system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Snooze Beverage Doctrine
- Create a welcoming experience for barista counter guests by learning names and order preferences
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if applicable
- Maintain bottles, glasses, coffee, and coffee equipment in an attractive and functional manner
- Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas including espresso machines, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage
- Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the breakfast counter
- Assist with restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
