Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and equipment
- clean all equipment and areas
- secure doors by locking
- organize, stock and maintain work areas
- take orders, enter them into the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and coffee cart areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day
- obtain correct change for expected transaction levels
- complete cash register at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, reconcile discrepancies, deliver receipts, and secure cash
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company information privacy and property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist team to achieve common goals
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently
- stand, sit or walk for extended periods during the work shift
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- visually inspect tools, equipment or machinery for defects
- grasp, turn and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees including bending, twisting, dragging and leaning
- move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- navigate stairs and service ramps
- greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
