Job Requirements
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS equipment
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate espresso machines and POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- Greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers
- Advocates selling techniques by communicating effectively and assisting customers in their buying decisions
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Performs other assigned duties as needed
