Job Requirements

  • Prior barista experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS equipment
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior barista experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate espresso machines and POS systems
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follows HACCP standards
  • Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
  • Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
  • Greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
  • Serves customers quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers
  • Advocates selling techniques by communicating effectively and assisting customers in their buying decisions
  • Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed
