Job Requirements
- 2+ years of barista or coffee shop experience preferred
- knowledgeable in coffee brewing methods and espresso machines
- able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and poise under pressure
- flexible and available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- proficient in basic computer and POS systems
- reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
- well-groomed and professional in appearance
- multilingual is a plus, especially in serving diverse guests
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- cash handling and basic computer literacy required
- must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly
Job Duties
- provide warm, personalized service to every guest
- greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- prepare coffee and specialty drinks with attention to quality and consistency
- operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with confidence and care
- maintain cleanliness of counters, workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas
- handle cash, card, and other forms of payment accurately
- assist with stocking, inventory, and monitoring supplies
- resolve guest concerns with professionalism or escalate to a manager when needed
- maintain accurate records of transactions using POS systems
- follow health, sanitation, and safety standards
- display integrity, honesty, and accountability in all guest and team interactions
