Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
  • capacity for maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • familiarity with basic computer systems for transaction recording

Job Duties

  • Provide warm, personalized service to all guests
  • maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space throughout the shift
  • manage trash removal and general upkeep of the barista station
  • greet and welcome customers with a positive attitude
  • handle customer complaints professionally or escalate to the manager
  • operate cash registers and record transactions accurately
  • inform customers of available payment options (cash, check, credit/debit)
  • monitor inventory and restock shelves as needed
  • count cash drawer before and after shifts to ensure accuracy
  • maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
  • handle repetitive tasks with precision and consistency
  • maintain transaction records using basic computer systems
  • demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • be respectful and courteous to guests from diverse backgrounds
  • work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
