Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- food handler certificate required
- TABC required
- minimum one year of experience as a cashier
- prior experience in customer service preferred
- must speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
- must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift and move approximately 15 pounds
- ability to carry out safety and emergency procedures
- ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach daily
- ability to effectively utilize point of sale equipment
- ability to perform sustained repetitive motion and fine motor skills
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests
- ability to direct and escort guests within the hotel
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- ability to read and write effectively
- ability to stand for long periods up to 8 hours
- ability to sustain direct contact with the public with a high volume of interaction

Job Duties
- prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- take and serve orders for baked goods and sandwiches
- describe menu items to guests and suggest products that might appeal to them
- order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
- provide room service for guests
- maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store
- use upselling and suggestive selling techniques
