Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • part-time availability up to 20 hours per week
  • willing to work evenings and weekends for special events or emergencies
  • able to lift, pull, push, or move up to 35 lbs
  • willing to attend all staff and department meetings
  • flexible, with a heart to serve
  • ability to learn POS system and beverage preparation
  • committed to maintaining a professional and gracious attitude
  • willing to comply with the Chapel's Leadership Covenant
  • available for seasonal major campus events

Job Duties

  • Exhibit excellent guest service
  • complete all necessary training as provided by management and trainers
  • operate POS system including cash, credit, and gift card handling
  • safely handle equipment and tools
  • brew coffee
  • make various beverages
  • take to-go orders
  • perform opening and closing side-work
  • develop drink and food knowledge
  • maintain and restock pastry case checking freshness and quality
  • maintain barista area to meet quality and health standards
