Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or cafe
  • open availability including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift including frequent bending, lifting, and stooping

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or cafe
  • demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive team environment
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure

Job Duties

  • Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties
  • greet customers, take orders accurately, and ring all orders through POS
  • promptly receive and process payment for each guest
  • prepare coffee and other beverages according to Hogsalt recipes, upholding culture and standards and adhering to food safety standards
  • anticipate the needs of guests and provide consistent, genuine, and generous service
  • address any guest needs or concerns promptly and communicate complaints or issues to leadership
  • complete all closing duties including financial checkout, closing sidework, cleaning projects, and other tasks assigned by leadership
  • ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service are properly executed
