Job Requirements
- Experience required

- basic math skills
- ability to handle cash and POS transactions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to follow food safety guidelines including HACCP
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a barista or similar customer-facing foodservice role
- understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
- ability to use POS systems accurately
- strong customer service and communication skills
- attention to detail in food and beverage preparation
- ability to work full-time schedule including nights and weekends
- basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serves customers quickly and efficiently preventing delays in serving lines
- demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
- advocates selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in buying decisions
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly
- performs other duties as assigned
