Job Requirements
- One year of barista experience is a plus
- must be available to flexible shifts
- must have comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
- must have knowledge of applicable federal, state and local health, safety and legal regulations
- must have excellent mathematical and computer skills
- high school education preferred
- relevant training and experience required
- ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates
- CPR training and first aid training preferred
- additional language ability preferred

Job Duties
- Greet all guests according to StepStone and hotel standards
- anticipate and address guests' needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- provide quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- handle closing of guest transactions
- close out register and balance cash for shift
- keep cash funds secured
- complete opening and closing duties including setup and cleaning
- bus coffee cart areas and tables
- set up, stock and maintain work areas
- check with guests to ensure satisfaction
- notify manager of any guest complaints
- practice and observe safety rules and procedures
- assist service personnel as requested
- maintain and follow cash handling procedures
- use POS system accurately
