Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred
  • hospitality or customer service experience a plus
  • knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
  • basic math and cash-handling skills
  • knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages
  • take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions accurately
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment
  • restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise
  • follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency
  • engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations
  • monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs
  • adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards
  • assist with opening and closing procedures
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
