Job Requirements
- Complete mandatory education, annual competencies, and department specific education within established timeframes
- complete annual employee health requirements within established timeframes
- consistently utilize appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques
- adhere to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance
- comply with established organization and department policies
- be available to work overtime and additional shifts as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum age of 17 years
- previous customer service experience in a food service environment preferred
- ability to learn quickly
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to build relationships
- physical ability and stamina to perform essential functions including stooping, reaching, lifting, and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Preparing hot and cold beverages to serve
- serving packaged and prepared foods
- compiling routine food orders
- receiving and putting away deliveries, cleaning, and sanitation
- operation of computerized POS for transactions
- reacting politely and quickly to requests, queries, issues, and grievances
- displaying a deep knowledge of all menu options
- following all applicable health and safety rules
- supporting Starbucks culture, values, and goals
- maintaining calm disposition under duress
- keeping the business in good order and anticipating customer demands
- cleaning, organizing, and stocking supplies and facility
