Job Qualifications
- At least one full year of barista experience on a manual espresso machine
- Experience with latte art a significant plus
- Strong commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow service protocols and menu details accurately
- Effective problem-solving skills and positive attitude
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast), reservation platforms (Open Table), and scheduling software (Hot Schedules)
- Flexibility with schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks with precision and care
- Follow established steps of service and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Engage with guests to provide hospitable, accurate, and memorable service
- Operate POS systems such as Toast, manage orders through Open Table, and coordinate schedules with Hot Schedules software
- Address and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally, turning challenges into positive outcomes
- Support the team by maintaining clean and organized workspaces and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless customer experiences
