Job Duties
- Comply with opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and cleaning equipment
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- enter orders in the cash register system and collect customer payments
- take orders using the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and coffee cart areas
- keep dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment clean throughout the day
- obtain necessary change for expected transactions
- complete cash register balancing and reports at shift end, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts, and secure the cash register
- comply with company safety policies and report maintenance, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- maintain professional appearance and uniform standards
- protect company information and property
- support coworkers with dignity and respect
- assist the team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- physically move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects under 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
- perform fine motor tasks requiring good hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees, bend, twist, drag, and stoop
