Job Duties
- Immediately greet customers as they arrive
- Engage customers before taking orders
- Educate customers on menu items and answer questions
- Discern customers' preferences and make recommendations
- Take orders paying attention to details
- Receive and process payments
- Serve prepared food items
- Prepare and serve beverages following recipes
- Keep bar area and equipment clean
- Brew drip coffee as needed
- Maintain empty dirty dish bin
- Wash and put away dishes
- Fill water containers and buffet items
- Maintain clean dining area and sanitize tables and chairs
- Maintain stock of syrups and merchandise
- Complete shift checklists with initials
- Complete daily and next shift tasks if possible
- Report maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
