Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a customer service or food and beverage role beneficial
- ability to communicate effectively
- positive attitude and passion for customer service
- knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP guidelines
- ability to work well under pressure
- reliable and dependable
- basic arithmetic skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and make them feel happy they came
- prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas
- serve ready to eat foods such as pastries, muffins, biscotti, bagels, sandwiches, and salads
- properly set up all equipment needed
- clean and sanitize work and service areas
- maintain product inventory to established levels
- operate cash register and self-service kiosks
- recognize products, restock and rotate accurately
- smile, greet, and serve customers to make them feel welcome
- complete HACCP requirements to ensure safe temperature control
- display merchandise attractively
- weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for customers
- stock, clean and organize coolers
- label and display signs
- follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
