Job Requirements

Be available for opening, mid, and closing shifts
Must enjoy working with and handling coffee and gelato items
Must possess a current food handler's permit
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to perform repetitive motion and coordination tasks
Ability to lift and maneuver objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout entire workday
Good listening and verbal communication skills
Must be mission-driven and self-directed

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED preferred
One year of barista experience preferred
Current food handler's permit
Basic math skills for making change
Excellent communication skills including verbal and listening skills
Ability to interpret policies and procedures
Excellent organization and planning skills
Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for success
Integrity and a positive attitude
Passion for food and beverages particularly coffee and gelato products
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the cafe provides
Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the cafe
Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
Ensures the cafe area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
Prepares coffee and espresso drinks
