Job Requirements
- No prior experience required
- willingness to train
- availability to work full time including days, varying hours and alternating weekends
- ability to comply with HACCP food safety standards
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing and cleaning
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- customer service experience is a plus but not required
- willingness to learn and be trained
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- basic math skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- friendly and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
- demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- serves as an advocate of selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in customer buying decisions
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and serves food neatly per standards
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- performs other duties as assigned
