- part-time availability for evening shift
- ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
- capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
- ability to manipulate objects and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and maneuvering in confined spaces
- willingness to follow safety and company policies
- ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- effective communication skills
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- no prior related work experience required
- no prior supervisory experience required
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems such as MICROS
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- basic physical fitness to perform job duties
Job Duties
- perform opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and equipment cleaning and securing premises
- organize, stock and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
- take customer orders using the MICROS system and prepare coffee and food items
- ensure appliances are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and coffee cart areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the shift
- compute cash register at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies and secure cash
- comply with company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
- protect company confidentiality and assets
- support team members and promote respect and dignity
- assist in achieving team goals
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- perform physical tasks such as lifting objects under 25 pounds, standing, walking or sitting for prolonged periods, reaching overhead and bending
- interact with guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly in a professional manner
- perform additional reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
