Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
- basic math and computer skills
- must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities
- ability to operate and maintain specialized kitchen equipment
- commitment to safety and sanitation standards
- availability to work part time with 40 weekly scheduled hours
- willingness to comply with Corewell Health vaccine requirements and workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
- basic math and computer skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service and cash handling experience preferred
Job Duties
- Produce a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from complex combinations of ingredients according to standardized recipes
- learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes
- work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
- multitask to perform a variety of duties including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities
- operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues and refer to leadership when necessary
- identify ingredients or finished products that do not meet established quality standards and correct issues immediately
- maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area
- prepare for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections
- create personalized experiences for customers demonstrating product knowledge and accuracy
- perform effective service recovery if products do not meet customer expectations
