Job Requirements

  • one year of retail or related experience preferred
  • good verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • prepare food items according to procedures
  • ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work is completed in a clean environment
  • operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments
  • stock items and rotate coffee merchandise displays
  • maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
  • notify department lead or manager when products and supplies need ordering
  • comply with company policies on security, cash handling, and product handling
  • maintain a clean and well-stocked department
  • communicate company programs, specials, and coupons to customers
  • follow safety guidelines and food safety expectations
  • model high standards of customer service
  • perform tasks in other departments as needed
  • additional responsibilities may be assigned
