Job Requirements
- completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum eighteen years of age
- ability to pass drug test
- committed to providing outstanding customer service
- ability to preserve confidentiality
- physical ability to perform job duties such as lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for extended periods, and operating equipment safely
- willingness to work overtime occasionally
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- no prior experience required
- ability to read simple verbal or written instructions
- ability to write short memos or messages
- able to communicate information effectively one on one and in small groups (customers and co-workers)
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- able to perform operations using American units of money, weight, volume, and distance
- ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- and two-step instructions
- ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- minimum eighteen years of age
- ability to pass drug test
- committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome and appreciated
- ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency

Job Duties
- creates personalized experiences for customers by demonstrating knowledge of coffee, products, and offers
- actively seeks to recognize, include, appreciate, support, and delight customers
- develops expertise in craft while maintaining equipment and store environment
- works in assigned positions and uses appropriate routines
- crafts and serves only the highest quality products
- ensures food and merchandise is visually appealing, stocked, and signed appropriately
- contributes to the success of the team and supports others to do their best work
- follows established policies and guidelines
- communicates important information to store leaders and the team in a timely manner
- operates cash register and follows proper money handling procedures
- maintains sanitation in the department by following cleaning schedules and health regulations
- disposes of trash properly
- assists with baling cardboard and related duties if trained
- assists with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries if trained
- uses all company-provided personal protective equipment
- may assist in other departments as needed
