Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of barista experience preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit required
- must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks such as grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow policies and procedures
- positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
- basic math skills
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED preferred

- must enjoy working with and handling coffee and gelato items
- passion for preparing, eating, and drinking food and beverages, particularly coffee and gelato
- basic math skills for making change
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- solid communication skills including verbal and listening skills
- ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for personal and team success
- must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and self-directed with passion for Harmons' mission

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all products and services the café provides
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the café
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- ensure the café area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- deliver excellent customer service to all customers
- prepare coffee and espresso drinks
- sample and serve gelato
- serve baked goods
- receive and stock product for the café
- cashier for products purchased at the café
- assist as needed to ensure the success of the bakery as a whole
