Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of barista experience preferred
- current food handler's permit
- must enjoy working with and handling coffee and gelato items
- basic math skills for making change
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- excellent organization and planning skills
- must possess solid communication skills
- ability to accept constructive review and be accountable
- must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the café provides
- responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the café
- confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products paying particular attention to ad items
- ensures the café area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- prepares coffee and espresso drinks
- samples and serves gelato
- serves baked goods
- receives and stocks product for the café
- cashiers for products purchased at the café
- assists as needed to ensure the success of the bakery as a whole
