Job Duties
- Responsible for learning and maintaining company standards and protocols
- Responsible for learning, understanding, and speaking knowledgeably about the company and coffee program
- Responsible for knowing and speaking about all coffees served including their components, history, and brewing methods
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, water towers, point of sale and mobile payment systems
- Restock all store areas including coffee bar and back rooms
- Perform opening, closing, and mid-day tasks
- Learn and perfect latte art
- Maintain store cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, cleaning drains, taking out trash, surface cleaning, and washing dishes
- Provide guests with memorable experience
- Take and ensure accurate guest orders
- Resolve guest complaints professionally or escalate to a leader
- Receive and sign for supplier orders
- Check quality and accuracy of deliveries against invoices
- Take and record required temperatures
- Work efficiently in a high volume environment, crafting drinks with care
- Maintain health department standards
- Keep store clean, stocked, and organized including pastry case, condiment station, merchandiser, grab and go refrigerator, bathroom, and walk-in refrigerator
- Abide by employee dress code
- Display positive attitude, passion for coffee, and value each drink for the customer
