Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a barista or waitstaff role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work mornings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and recipes
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Team player with a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Greets guests and solicits beverage and food orders
- Prepares beverages and food items for sale
- Accurately operates the POS system according to department guidelines
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage items available at the espresso/smoothie bar including beverage recipes and nutritional information
- Cleans and organizes the bar area and ensures the equipment is in good repair
- Markets and promotes special items and new offerings
- Stocks the espresso/smoothie bar with all food and beverage items and side items such as cups, ice, napkins, straws, syrups
- Models a customer comes first attitude and delivers excellent customer service
- Supports team members
- Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the mission of the Bellevue Club
- For Closing Waitstaff: ensures the entire area is well stocked and cleaned for the next morning
- Calls the MOD to witness and sign off on the count out of the cash drawer
- Communicates with the Market Manager and Supervisor about any evening events or business operations needing attention
