Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of barista experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Availability to work full-time hours
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Coach and train team members on barista prepared drinks and standards
- Liaise with management to plan and carry out barista prepared drinks training
- Conduct coffee team briefs and attend relevant meetings and courses
- Ensure all hot drinks training material is available and up to date
- Follow Pret's dress code and maintain immaculate presentation
- Positively engage with customers and the team about Pret's coffee story and menu
- Serve barista prepared drinks to the 60 seconds standards and communicate delays
- Impress customers with latte art
- Make all barista prepared drinks to Pret standards
- Maintain and operate barista prepared drinks equipment and perform daily and weekly checks
- Maintain cleanliness of the barista prepared drinks counter from a customer perspective
- Conduct log checks, thermometer calibration and dribble tests
- Manage waste levels of barista prepared drinks ingredients
- Address any issues related to stock variances and waste with the manager
- Meet weekly sales targets and share with the team
- Track shop barista sales versus total sales and sales mix
- Use promotional waste to sample and recognize regular customers
