Job Requirements
- less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- must be able to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must have clarity of vision at a distance with or without correction
- must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- must adhere to hygiene and dress guidelines
- must report to work on time and when scheduled

- ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
- ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- possess ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions

Job Duties
- provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions, enhancing the shopping experience
- answers the telephone promptly and assists customers including taking orders
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- handles food safely and keeps work area clean
- reviews status and freshness of food
- ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- anticipates daily product needs
- prepares and replenishes products
- checks in and puts away product
- operates registers and handles payments where applicable
- removes trash promptly
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress standards
- follows company policies and guidelines
- reports to work on time as scheduled
