Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- must adhere to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- able to work daytime shifts
- able to report to work on time
- employment contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions, performing tasks to enhance shopping experience
- answers telephone promptly and takes customer orders
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handles food safely and maintains cleanliness
- reviews food freshness and prepares product as necessary
- manages inventory and follows production lists
- operates registers and handles transactions
- removes trash timely
- maintains personal hygiene and dress standards
- adheres to company policies and guidelines
- reports to work on time
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders products and supplies as needed
- prices products for customers
- assists in other store areas as needed
- performs other job-related duties and special projects
