Job Requirements

Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills
Friendly and approachable personality
Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a host or hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a welcoming demeanor
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon their arrival
Maintain an organized reservation system including phone and online reservations
Manage the seating process balancing guest preferences, table availability, and server assignments
Effectively manage waitlists during peak hours, provide estimated wait times and options for waiting
Provide guests with information about menus, daily specials, and promotions
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding table availability and guest requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
Bid guests farewell and collect feedback, addressing any immediate concerns
