Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to move, lift, and perform stooping and reaching motions
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Positive and professional attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or in customer service preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and welcoming demeanor
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to move throughout the dining room and carry trays and bus tubs
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Maintain an organized reservation system including phone and online bookings
- Manage seating efficiently balancing guest preferences and server assignments
- Effectively manage waitlists providing estimated wait times and waiting options
- Provide guests with information about menus, specials, and promotions
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about table availability and guest requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Bid guests farewell and address feedback and concerns
