Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of retail or related experience preferred
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
  • good customer service and organizational skills
  • basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
  • willingness to work in varied temperatures and typical retail environment
  • travel as required

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee shop beverages
  • prepare food items according to procedures
  • ensure food and beverages are handled safely and work environment is clean
  • operate cash register and process payments
  • stock and rotate coffee items and merchandise displays
  • maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
  • notify department lead or manager if products and supplies need ordering
