Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of barista experience
- ability to work full time, including rotating shifts and every other weekend
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to follow food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of Barista experience
- ability to interact courteously with customers
- knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
- experience with POS systems
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
- explains daily menu items accurately and assists in customer buying decisions
