Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and understand simple printed matter
- Must be able to complete mathematical problems including fractions
- Willingness to work under no direct supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- Ability to comply with sanitation and safety standards
Job Qualifications

- Must be able to complete mathematical problems including fractions
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Training provided
- Experience in food service or barista roles preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare and handle food according to sanitation and therapeutic requirements
- Perform necessary cleaning to maintain department order and sanitation
- Work independently while coordinating with management on daily operations
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all food service staff, dietetic staff, supervisors, and other departments such as nursing, housekeeping, and plant operations
- Follow regulatory agency guidelines in food preparation and handling
- Ensure patient and staff expectations are met in food service quality
- Participate in departmental initiatives for continuous improvement
