Job Duties
- Perform various food service functions as directed by the work schedule
- prepare and handle food according to sanitation and therapeutic requirements established by regulatory agencies
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the department through proper cleaning duties
- operate independently without supervision while collaborating with management on daily operations
- establish and maintain good working relationships with food service staff, dietetic staff, supervisors, and colleagues in other departments such as nursing, housekeeping, and plant operations
- ensure food safety and quality meet patient and staff expectations
- adhere to all regulatory standards for food preparation and handling
